Programme Purpose
This Learnership Programme is designed to equip unemployed candidates with practical manufacturing and technical skills. Participants will receive structured workplace training and theoretical learning, leading to an NQF Level 3 qualification upon successful completion.
Training Areas
Participants will be trained in:
- Working in a team
- Safety and hand tools
- Assembly and manufacturing drawings
- Marking off and welding
- Operating and monitoring production machines
- Surface preparation
- Firefighting
- Operations and product dispatch
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must have one of the following:
- National Technical Certificate (N3 – N6), or
- Matric / Technical Matric with:
- Mathematics and Physical Science, or
- Engineering Science, or
- Electrical Trade Theory, Mechanical Trade Theory, or Motor Trade Theory
- Mechanical Drawing or Graphical Design
