Position Overview
Clicks Group’s Unicare division is seeking a Pharmacist Assistant QPB who is passionate about customer service. The role is based at the Unicare 24 Hour Pharmacy in Somerset West and reports to the Dispensary Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional and confidential customer interactions within SOP and agreed timelines.
- Dispense prescriptions and manage related claiming/capturing procedures.
- Handle patient profiles accurately and completely.
- Communicate with healthcare professionals as required.
- Resolve queries and follow up on issues.
- Assist with chronic authorizations in collaboration with the medical aid team.
- Maintain efficient stock control, including repacking of medicines.
- Conduct dispensary administration and accurate compounding.
- Provide general health advice.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and merchandise display.
- Undertake ad hoc operational tasks as required.

Minimum Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year in the role of Pharmacist Assistant Post Basic
- Retail experience
Education:
- Further Education and Training Certificate: Pharmacist Assistance (Essential)
- Valid registration with SAPC
