Position Overview
Clicks Group is seeking a Pharmacist Assistant QPB responsible for providing pharmaceutical care services within scope of practice and performing day-to-day dispensary administration. The focus is on script administration and patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Interact professionally with customers, maintaining strict confidentiality
- Administer scripts and other claiming/capturing procedures accurately
- Ensure complete and accurate handling of all profiles worked on
- Liaise with healthcare professionals as required
- Problem-solving and follow-up on queries
- Manage patient profiles and assist with chronic authorizations
- Communicate with customers via telephone or other means regarding medication and healthcare services
- Collaborate with all departments as needed
- Perform ad hoc tasks as operationally required
Knowledge
- Product knowledge (including OTC)
- SAPC and relevant legal knowledge
- Sound understanding of chronic authorization processes

Minimum Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year in the role of Pharmacist Assistant Post Basic
Education:
- Further Education and Training Certificate in Pharmacist Assistance (Essential)
