Role Purpose
To support the Group Finance Technologies (GFT) team by assisting with finance-related system processes, reporting, analysis, and control activities. The role applies academic finance knowledge in a structured, technology-enabled environment designed to build practical experience and professional capability.
Key Responsibilities
Internal Process Support
- Support end-to-end Group Finance process flows
- Assist with period-end and year-end activities
- Support the transaction lifecycle from source systems to financial reporting
- Understand interdependencies between Finance, IT, and business units
- Log, track, and resolve finance-related system support queries
- Perform root-cause analysis on recurring issues
- Execute system controls and collect supporting evidence
- Assist with internal and external audit requests
- Test and validate system or process changes
- Update process documentation and user guides
- Identify opportunities for standardisation and automation
Client Process Support
- Support end-to-end client finance processes enabled by GFT
- Handle finance system-related client queries
- Communicate professionally with internal client-facing teams
- Support audit and review evidence gathering
- Maintain confidentiality and data integrity
- Identify recurring client issues and support process improvements
- Contribute ideas to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service quality
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting or Finance
Minimum Experience
- No prior work experience required
