About the Role
Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa, a leading FMCG company, is seeking a Sales Coach to drive execution excellence and capability development within the sales teams. This role plays a critical part in improving sales performance, customer satisfaction, and brand execution across the district.
Key Purpose of the Role
To drive sales execution and build capability within sales teams through structured coaching, training interventions, and performance tracking, ultimately contributing to increased sales volumes and strong in-trade execution.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Drive execution and capability development within district sales teams (AMs, TAMs, MOTs, and Merchandisers).
- Improve the skills index through on-the-job and classroom-based coaching.
- Implement sales disciplines and ensure timely certification of Merchandiser Order Takers.
- Oversee frontline sales capability development and assessments.
- Develop key account and route-to-market capability within the district.
- Design and deliver customized training modules aligned to district and business needs.
- Prepare and sign off MOTs in line with the Core Curriculum.
- Train employees and intermediaries according to the Training Calendar.
- Conduct training needs analysis in line with business requirements.
- Track and report skills development using approved tools and instruments.
- Monitor performance using RED and CLI trackers.
- Conduct RED compliance sample checks and provide reports to Units and Region.
- Maintain accurate district training records in coordination with HR and L&D.
- Track MOT performance and manage skill-level trackers.
- Coordinate and update RED outlet audits and track RED action plans.
Skills, Experience & Education
Qualifications
- Completed 3-year Marketing or Sales Degree/Diploma, or
- Currently studying towards a Marketing or Sales Degree/Diploma
- Proven experience with a strong performance track record (advantageous)
- Valid Code 08 Driver’s Licence
