Ltd. (part of Sandvik Group) is seeking a <strong>Design Engineer (SRP)<\/strong> to provide engineering support for screening equipment. The role covers <strong>Current Product Engineering, New Product Development Engineering, and Order-Based Engineering activities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Create <strong>3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings, and BOMs<\/strong> for sub-systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Design solutions that are simple, cost-effective, and use appropriate materials.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Design fabricated structural weldments, including bolts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select bearings and motors, including performing calculations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct basic design calculations (beam bending, stress calculations).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow material and safety standards for design.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verify designs using basic engineering mechanics principles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Release manufacturing drawings and BOMs for production.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qualifications &amp; Experience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>University degree or master\u2019s in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>7\u20139 years<\/strong> of design experience in the mining\/construction or heavy machinery industry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least <strong>4 years\u2019 experience in SolidWorks<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with AutoCAD for drafting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with Teamcenter; UG-Nx is a plus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong oral and written communication in English.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven track record in simplifying designs and reducing manufacturing costs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Skills &amp; Competencies<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ability to understand complex technical concepts quickly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Focused on priorities and able to work in a fast-moving team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comfortable collaborating with in-house R&amp;D teams and global customers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Apply Here<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udd17 <a href=\"https:\/\/sandvik.wd3.myworkdayjobs.com\/en-US\/sandvik-jobs\/job\/India%2C-Bangalore\/Design-Engineer--SRP-_R0086679\/apply\/applyManually\">Apply Here<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Location: Bangalore, IndiaTime Type: Full-timeApplication Deadline: December 26, 2025Job Requisition ID: R0086679 About the Role Sandvik Mining &amp; Rock Technology India Pvt.
