class=\"wp-block-heading\">Role Purpose<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>Actuarial Specialist<\/strong> will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Perform actuarial product management tasks within Momentum Life \u2013 MMerge Product Management (South) team<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with actuarial specialists, business analysts, and segment managers to execute strategies aligned with Momentum Group objectives<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure products are managed effectively in terms of profitability, compliance, and client value<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Manage legacy life insurance products while balancing stakeholder objectives<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor profitability and implement changes to align with legislation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify system errors and ensure successful resolutions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure fair client treatment through product design, communication, and advice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Optimise product value via reinsurance and other initiatives<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in product consolidation, including:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Rationalising product range and providing specifications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analysing system data and producing reports for consolidation\/migration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Co-creating product enhancements and documenting existing product bases<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor actuarial basis items (mortality, lapses, etc.) and implement corrective actions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute to innovation and share new ideas for client solutions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support service areas in resolving client queries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure consistent service delivery aligned with Company Values and Treating Customers Fairly principles<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Education:<\/strong> Actuarial \/ Bachelor\u2019s Degree with Mathematics or Statistics majors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Professional Progress:<\/strong> Strong progress in actuarial exams, minimum completion for recognition as Technical Member of ASSA (TASSA) or equivalent<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Experience:<\/strong> 2\u20133 years in financial services; experience with life insurance product development\/pricing is advantageous<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Skills:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strong numerical, analytical, and computer skills (Excel &amp; Word essential)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Data management and extraction experience advantageous<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Client-centric mindset, innovative and results-focused<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator
