Its mission is to empower young people in the province by offering <strong>bursaries, internships, learnerships, and career guidance programmes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>ABOUT THE GCRA BURSARY PROGRAMME \u2013 FIELDS COVERED<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>GCRA Bursary Programme<\/strong> invites both new and returning students to apply for funding for the <strong>2026 academic year<\/strong>. The bursary supports eligible Gauteng residents pursuing <strong>Undergraduate or Postgraduate studies<\/strong> at accredited institutions across South Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>BURSARY COVERAGE VALUE<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The bursary offers comprehensive financial support, which may include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Registration fees<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tuition fees<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Accommodation<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On-campus residence: <strong>up to R65 000<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Off-campus\/private accommodation: <strong>up to R47 000<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Books allowance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Laptop allowance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Living allowance (for off-campus accommodation)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applicants shortlisted for funding will be contacted within <strong>3\u20134 weeks<\/strong> after the closing date. If you do not receive feedback within 4 weeks, consider your application <strong>unsuccessful<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To qualify, applicants must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be a <strong>South African citizen<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be <strong>18\u201335 years old<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reside <strong>within Gauteng<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have completed <strong>Matric in Gauteng<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be accepted or registered for a <strong>2026 Undergraduate or Postgraduate programme<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be studying at an <strong>accredited PSET institution<\/strong>, including:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Public or private universities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>TVET colleges<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Private colleges<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Community colleges<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Skills development providers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Priority Fields (GGT2030 Sectors)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Preference is given to applicants studying:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Art &amp;
