This programme is designed for students who require <strong>practical workplace exposure<\/strong> to complete their tertiary qualification. The successful candidate will report directly to the <strong>Quality Assurance Manager<\/strong> and gain hands-on experience in quality testing, reporting, and compliance within a FMCG manufacturing environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Output<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Conduct quality and compliance tests on products and packaging.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Compile accurate quality reports and maintain audit-ready records.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communicate out-of-specification results to ensure product quality is maintained.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support cost minimisation through quality assurance controls.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Knowledge<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Understanding of microbiology, chemistry, biochemistry, physics, and mathematics related to the food industry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of laboratory policies, procedures, and best practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Skills<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, pressurised manufacturing environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Application of scientific theory to practical business solutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong decision-making and analytical skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to identify and apply emerging industry trends.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Attitude<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Passion for quality and people.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High energy levels and a positive, proactive mindset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Skills, Experience &amp; Education<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qualifications \/ Experience<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Grade 12 with <strong>Mathematics or Mathematics Literacy (minimum 40%)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two South African languages passed with a minimum of 40%<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Currently studying towards <strong>Microbiology, Biotechnology, Food Technology<\/strong>, or a related qualification<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Theoretical modules completed and <strong>requires practical In-Service Training<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must not have previously completed an In-Service Trainee programme<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Other Requirements<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>South African citizen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Employment Equity candidate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Unemployed at the time of appointment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Aged between <strong>18 \u2013 35 years<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must provide an <strong>official letter from the tertiary institution<\/strong> confirming the requirement for workplace experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Required Documents<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applicants must submit:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Detailed CV<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Certified copy of Matric certificate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Certified copy of most recent academic transcript<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Copy of tertiary institution curriculum or In-Service Training requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Note: Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee shortlisting.
