The EN may function as a <strong>shift leader<\/strong> or as support to the RN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This role plays a vital part in ensuring that patients receive <strong>safe, dignified, and high-quality mental and physical healthcare<\/strong> within Akeso Clinics. The EN role-models professional nursing practice and contributes to patient wellbeing, safety, and recovery within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Patient Care<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Deliver nursing care within the scope of practice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute to holistic patient care<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain therapeutic nurse\u2013patient relationships<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor vital signs and report abnormalities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Administer and evaluate medication<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide health education to patients and families<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential patient records<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promote infection prevention and hygiene standards<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support ECT procedures (pre- and post-care)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in discharge planning and patient education<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Administration &amp;
