The role ensures cost-effective production while maintaining a clean loading area to prevent truck tyre damage, using a dozer or wheel dozer when necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reporting Line<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reports to the Production Supervisor \/ Load &amp; Haul Foreman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Achieve required truck factor and daily production targets<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Execute the approved daily production plan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Load trucks to the correct elevation using the grade box<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure continuous feeding of reef to crushers and waste to the TSF<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scale the highwall safely<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Avoid loading oversized rocks onto trucks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do not load un-blasted hard surfaces<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Report and address any equipment damages immediately<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain a clean and safe loading area<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support Load &amp; Haul Supervisors in executing tasks safely and cost-effectively<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build and maintain positive working relationships with employees and management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Minimum Requirements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>At least 1 year experience as an Excavator Operator<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open-cast mining experience (advantageous)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Code 10 driver\u2019s license (for multi-skilling purposes)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must pass medical and Dover assessments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Inherent Requirement<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Must be medically fit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Apply<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensure you meet all the minimum requirements for the position.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare clear copies of the following required documents:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Curriculum Vitae (CV)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Certified copy of ID Document<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Qualifications (Certificates and\/or Academic Records)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Latest payslips (last 3 months)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recent photograph<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Application:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/tharisa.mcidirecthire.com\/External\/Application?Ref=TEkBhDYErs0qhHgueWeCgt_yRI-cnPLR1MRk1RR6Cpou3ktpvROhSqni_BGkK6j01dzpSFY7IUsp0XWTAOOBI6LbcoP4h425zW86nJx-yaax3Ep9j1XF3X4rqJKKlfRsHnM5yT06FZUN2qh_3AADQA\">Apply Here<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Reference Number: EXC009SRLocation: North WestClosing Date: 25 February 2026 Purpose of the Role The Excavator Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently loading haul trucks to the correct capacity.
