class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>SARB ERD Winter School<\/strong> is a week-long in-person programme designed for postgraduate students interested in <strong>economics, finance, and policymaking<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participants will gain exposure to <strong>international and local research insights<\/strong>, engage in <strong>action-based learning projects<\/strong>, and learn about the role of the <strong>South African Reserve Bank in the financial system<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Outstanding participants may also be considered for the <strong>SARB Graduate Development Programme<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Accommodation and transport will be provided to successful candidates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fields of Study<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applicants must be studying or have completed a postgraduate qualification in one of the following areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Economics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Statistics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mathematics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Finance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Actuarial Science<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Minimum Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applicants must meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Completed or currently completing a <strong>postgraduate qualification<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Achieved or expect to achieve <strong>an average above 70% in the final year<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrated <strong>academic excellence<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong interest in <strong>financial services, research, or policymaking<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent <strong>communication and interpersonal skills<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be <strong>currently unemployed<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What the Programme Offers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participants will benefit
