This senior management opportunity is based in Pretoria and focuses on overseeing the implementation of the Community Work Programme (CWP) across the Eastern Cape, Western Cape, and Northern Cape provinces.

About the Role
The successful candidate will lead and coordinate Community Work Programme implementation processes, stakeholder partnerships, contract management, and compliance systems to support poverty alleviation and job creation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate implementation of CWP in allocated provinces
- Coordinate CWP policies, frameworks, norms, and standards
- Oversee monitoring, reporting, and compliance processes
- Strengthen stakeholder coordination structures
- Develop partnerships to improve programme impact
- Ensure effective maintenance of work opportunities
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Undergraduate qualification in:
- Social Sciences
- Community Development
- Public Administration
- Or equivalent qualification at NQF Level 7 recognised by SAQA
Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience at senior managerial level
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Completion of the Nyukela Senior Management Pre-Entry Programme before appointment
