Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be currently in Matric or have completed Matric
  • Intend to study full-time toward a degree in 2026
  • Be applying to or accepted at one of the participating universities
  • Achieve a minimum of 70% in English, Mathematics, Physical Science, and/or Accounting
  • Come from a financially needy household with combined income ≤ R200,000 per year

Required Documents

Applicants must upload certified copies (where applicable) during the online application:

  • South African ID copy
  • Passport and study visa (if not a South African citizen)
  • Parents’/guardians’ IDs
  • Declaration / Consent Form (for applicants under 18)
  • Proof of social grant or three months of parents’/guardians’ bank statements
  • Grade 11 November results
