Programme Purpose
The Moshal Scholarship Programme 2026 supports high-achieving South African students from financially disadvantaged households. It provides full financial support and personal development opportunities, enabling students to complete undergraduate degrees in high-demand STEM and Commerce fields while receiving mentorship, career guidance, and professional training throughout their studies.

The scholarship covers full-time undergraduate degrees in STEM and Commerce fields:

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be currently in Matric or have completed Matric
- Intend to study full-time toward a degree in 2026
- Be applying to or accepted at one of the participating universities
- Achieve a minimum of 70% in English, Mathematics, Physical Science, and/or Accounting
- Come from a financially needy household with combined income ≤ R200,000 per year
Required Documents
Applicants must upload certified copies (where applicable) during the online application:
- South African ID copy
- Passport and study visa (if not a South African citizen)
- Parents’/guardians’ IDs
- Declaration / Consent Form (for applicants under 18)
- Proof of social grant or three months of parents’/guardians’ bank statements
- Grade 11 November results
