Programme Overview
- Location: Berlin, Germany.
- Duration: Four-week intensive leadership program.
- Dates: 4 January 2027 – 2 February 2027.
- Capacity: 24 participants from across Africa.
Financial Benefits (Fully Funded)
- Stipend: €700 monthly allowance.
- Housing: Free shared accommodation in Berlin.

Eligibility Criteria
- Citizenship: Citizen of an eligible African country.
- Age: Under 30 years old as of January 1, 2027.
- Education: Recognized university degree holder.
- Language: Minimum B2-level proficiency in German.
- Engagement: Active interest in political or social issues.
Required Documentation (In German)
- Language Proof: German B2 certificate or higher.
- Motivation Letter: Max 2 pages, signed, written in German.
- Identification: Copy of Passport or National ID.
- Academic Records: University degree (English or German).
- Recommendation: One letter of support (English or German).
Selection Process
- Digital Submission: Applications via the official portal only.
- Interviews: Held at German diplomatic missions for shortlisted candidates.
- Criteria: Based on qualifications, civic engagement, and language skills.
- Note: SA and Namibia residents can also apply for the 5-month Global IPS.
