Available Bursary Streams
The bursary leads to qualifications aligned with ATNS’s operational needs, covering careers such as Air Traffic Controller and Aeronautical Information Officer.

- Aeronautical Information Management Officer (AIMO)
- Target Generating Officer (TGO)
- Airport Management Centre (AMC) Liaison Officer
- Simulator Support Officer (SSO)
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet all of the following:
- South African citizen with a valid ID
- Youth aged 18–35 and currently unemployed
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate
- Pure Mathematics: Level 4 / HG-D / SG-C or higher
- English: Level 4 / HG-D / SG-C or higher
- Medically fit (ATSO stream)
- Willing to relocate anywhere in South Africa
Important: Applicants previously enrolled in any ATNS bursary will not be considered.
