The Tomorrow Trust Bursary 2026 supports South African students who are orphaned or come from vulnerable households. The Tomorrow Trust works to empower young people through education, life skills, and personal development.
About the Tomorrow Trust
The Tomorrow Trust is a non-profit organisation that offers support from primary school to university level. Their programmes include:
- Holiday & Saturday School Programme (Grades 1–12)
- Tertiary Programme (bursaries for university)
- Shift Programme (workplace skills)
- I Am Little Wings Programme (academic & psycho-social support)
- Stepping Stones Career Programme (career guidance)
- Alumni Programme
The Tomorrow Trust Bursary 2026 aims to help students reach their potential through higher education.
Fields of Study Covered
The bursary is available for Undergraduate and Postgraduate (excluding Masters) degrees in STEM:
- Science
- Technology
- Engineering
- Mathematics
Only students studying at public South African universities may apply.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Tomorrow Trust Bursary 2026, applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be 18–31 years old
- Be in Matric or have completed Matric
- Be studying full-time in a STEM degree
- Be studying toward a first qualification
- Come from a household earning less than R350 000 per year
- Be a first-generation university student
- Not be employed full-time
- Not receive full study funding (NSFAS partial funding allowed)

- Full academic record (if studying)
- Postgraduate: certificates of previous qualifications
- Proof of university registration
- Parents/guardians income documents (payslips, affidavit, bank statements, SASSA letters, etc.)
