Job Overview
Clicks Group Limited is seeking 2 x Shop Assistant / Cashier staff members for the The Greenary store in Polokwane / Pietersburg.
This is a permanent position and requires excellent customer service, accurate till operation and in-store merchandising.
Introduction
The role aims to deliver service excellence through efficient customer support, accurate point-of-sale operations, and high-quality store merchandising to ensure a positive shopping experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
Job Objectives
- Execute all POS (point of sale) activities accurately and efficiently.
- Scan merchandise correctly and process payments.
- Handle cash safely at all times.
- Promote and sign up customers for the Clicks ClubCard loyalty programme.
- Inform customers about promotions to support sales.
- Deliver excellent customer service by acting as a Clicks brand ambassador.
- Maintain store housekeeping and visual merchandising standards.
- Support Clicks’ vision of being the customer’s first-choice health and beauty retailer.
- Maintain updated knowledge of products, promotions, events and ranges.
Knowledge Requirements
- Basic maths skills
- Retail or FMCG background
- Understanding of merchandising and promotions
- Knowledge of stock management procedures

Education
- Essential: Grade 12 (Matric)
- Desirable: Maths 50% and English 50% at Grade 12 level
