Role Overview
Provide excellent customer service while efficiently handling point of sale (POS) transactions, merchandising, and in-store support to enhance the overall customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales
- Deliver friendly, professional service
- Promote Clicks ClubCard and enroll new members
- Inform customers about promotions and offers
POS & Cash Handling
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash safely at all times
- Apply ClubCard rewards correctly
Merchandising & Store Standards
- Maintain merchandising and visual display standards
- Perform general housekeeping duties
- Stay updated on products, promotions, and store events
Requirements
Education
- Grade 12 (Essential)
- Maths 50% and English 50% (Desirable)
Experience
- Retail or FMCG customer-facing experience (Desirable)
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic maths and numeracy skills
- Understanding of retail, merchandising, and stock management
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Computer literacy
- Ability to plan, organise, and work under pressure
