Overview
Nova Pioneer is seeking motivated Apprentice Teachers to join the team at Ormonde Primary School in 2026. This role is perfect for aspiring educators who want to develop their teaching skills while gaining hands-on classroom experience.
As an Apprentice Teacher, you will work alongside a Resident Teacher, helping to deliver Nova Pioneer’s enquiry-based learning approach that nurtures confident, curious, and capable young learners.

Key Responsibilities
As an Apprentice Teacher, you will:
- Instructional Support: Assist Resident Teachers in delivering dynamic, enquiry-based lessons supported by technology.
- Assessment & Goal Setting: Help set ambitious learning goals and use assessments to support student progress.
- Professional Development: Participate fully in weekly coaching, feedback sessions, and professional learning opportunities.
- Parent Communication: Maintain regular communication with parents via email, phone, and parent-teacher meetings.
- School Community: Support co-curricular programmes and take part in school events, including required morning, evening, or weekend duties.
Minimum Requirements
- Specialising in the Foundation Phase.
- Provisionally registered with SACE.
- Not a qualified teacher at the start of 2026.
- Currently completing your 3rd or 4th year of a BEd degree, OR studying for a Bachelor’s degree + PGCE.
Advantageous (Not required)
- Experience or curriculum knowledge in English and Mathematics (Singapore Maths, THRASS).
- Familiarity with Cambridge curriculum objectives.
