Position Overview

Role Purpose

  • Design and deliver the product line strategy and annual plans to support RBB Strategic objectives for both Assets and Liabilities products.
  • Maximise income and profitability of the product portfolio while ensuring alignment with customer needs, governance, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Planning

  • Set strategic direction for the product portfolio with Head of Business Enablement.
  • Align product offerings with customer segmentation and value propositions.
  • Inform country Distribution, Marketing, and Propositions teams of strategy, positioning, and implementation plans.

2. Product Management

  • Identify income drivers and levers to achieve performance targets.
  • Monitor product line performance, competitor activity, and market trends.
  • Implement changes in pricing, features, or new product development with proper governance.
  • Produce reporting on KPIs, income, margin, and product performance with recommendations.

3. New Product Development

  • Generate and manage new product or amendment ideas.
  • Conduct research, write business cases, perform financial modeling, and risk assessment.
  • Facilitate planning workshops and manage product launch from pilot to full rollout.
  • Handover products to BAU (Business As Usual) and perform post-project reviews.

4. Team Leadership

  • Build, coach, and lead a high-performing product management team.
  • Motivate, develop, and recognize staff while fostering empowerment and accountability.
  • Conduct performance reviews, manage training needs, and create a culture of ownership and initiative.

5. Risk, Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and risk control standards.
  • Implement new regulatory or Group requirements across the product line.

Education & Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree and/or Advanced Diploma in:
    • Business
    • Commerce
    • Management Studies
