Position Overview
The Shop Assistant / Cashier is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, efficiently managing point-of-sale operations, and maintaining store merchandising standards. This role ensures a positive shopping experience and supports the company’s vision as the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently execute all point-of-sale operations, including scanning merchandise and handling payments accurately.
- Safely manage cash transactions at all times.
- Promote the Clicks Clubcard and enroll new members to achieve participation targets.
- Inform customers about promotions to enhance sales and provide value.
- Act as a brand ambassador by delivering friendly, professional, and visible customer service.
- Maintain merchandising and housekeeping standards according to store and visual merchandising guidelines.
- Stay informed about products, promotions, and events to provide accurate customer information.
