Position Overview
Clicks Group is seeking a Picking Supervisor for Montague DC. The successful candidate will manage a team within a multi-disciplined environment, ensuring adherence to company policies, meeting productivity targets, and delivering high levels of service to customers.
The role reports to the Departmental Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise staff to meet productivity targets; take remedial actions when necessary.
- Conduct daily SGM meetings to address performance and training needs.
- Assist in planning staff requirements based on volume and budget.
- Action and manage daily/weekly reporting.
- Ensure compliance with statutory health and safety requirements, housekeeping standards, and internal policies.
- Maintain the KPI board accurately and on time.
- Achieve departmental KPIs within planned budgets and schedules.
- Ensure smooth handovers between shifts.
- Promote and instill the company’s brand values.
Minimum Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Matric / NQF Level 4 (Essential)
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (Advantageous)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a logistics environment (Essential)
Job-Related Knowledge & Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word & Excel)
- Knowledge of WM systems
- Budgeting and cost management experience
- Understanding of industrial relations (IR) issues
- Knowledge of housekeeping and 5S methodology
- Health and safety awareness
