About the Role
Sandvik Mining & Rock Solutions is seeking a Programmer & Contract Control Specialist with a focus on automation. The role ensures projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within scope, including oversight of KPIs, engineering phases, equipment acquisition, construction, and commissioning. The position involves corrective action management, documentation control, and quality assurance to support project payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise project execution phases according to plan.
- Identify deviations and coordinate corrective actions with the team.
- Report project progress and deviations using established platforms.
- Define activities, sequences, resources, and task durations.
- Develop and maintain project schedules using MS Project / Primavera.
- Adjust schedules based on technical and project requirements.
- Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors efficiently.
- Collaborate with site managers, project managers, and contract administrators to track KPIs.
- Generate physical, economic, and work progress curves (“S” curves).
- Prepare status and progress reports.
- Manage project documentation and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Engineering (Execution, Civil, Automation, Electronics, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in programming, planning, and contract control (desirable).
- Experience with project control software and construction progress measurement.
- Advanced Microsoft Project and Primavera skills (desirable).
- Advanced MS Office skills (desirable).
- Intermediate English (desirable).
- Willingness to travel within and outside Chile.
- Ability to work administrative shifts (5×2 or 4×3).
- Class B driver’s license with minimum 3 years of experience.
- Residence in Rancagua or Santiago.
