Job Summary
The Relationship Executive: Growth Business (FAIS) is responsible for optimising profit and economic value of portfolios of Growth Business key account clients with medium to high complexity commercial banking needs. The role focuses on client acquisition, cross-selling, and effective portfolio coverage in line with the segment’s Customer Value Proposition (CVP).
Key Responsibilities
Financial Performance
- Maintain primary ownership of a portfolio of Growth Business clients
- Drive origination efforts to acquire new clients
- Cross-sell relevant banking solutions to existing clients
Relationship & Service Management
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Conduct regular client visits aligned with the Commercial Growth CVP
- Provide input into product development to better meet client needs
Risk Management & Compliance
- Adhere to Absa policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Take ownership of portfolio risk management
- Ensure sound understanding of both client and bank compliance environments
Collaboration
- Promote effective teamwork and an empowering work culture
- Share knowledge, experience, and best practices
- Challenge the status quo to improve ways of working
Minimum Requirements
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Qualification in:
- Business Studies
- Commerce
- Management Studies
