Job Summary
The Relationship Executive – Premium is responsible for optimising the profitability and economic value of portfolios of Premium Business key account clients with high-complexity commercial banking needs. The role focuses on acquiring new clients, cross-selling solutions, and delivering service excellence aligned with the segment’s Client Value Proposition (CVP).
Key Responsibilities
Drive Financial Targets
- Maintain ownership of a portfolio of Premium/Growth Business clients
- Drive new client origination and portfolio growth
- Cross-sell relevant banking solutions to existing clients
Relationship & Service Management
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Conduct regular client visits in line with the Commercial Growth Account Value Proposition
- Provide input into product development to improve client solutions
Risk Management & Compliance
- Adhere to all Absa policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Take full ownership of portfolio risk management
- Ensure a strong understanding of both client and bank compliance environments
Collaboration
- Challenge the status quo to improve ways of working
- Share knowledge, best practices, and constructive feedback within the team
- Support an empowering and collaborative team culture
Minimum Requirements
Qualification
- National Diploma or Advanced Certificate in:
