Job Summary

The Specialist: Strategic Marketing role is a high-impact, enablement-focused position for a digitally fluent professional. The role translates business priorities into marketing capabilities that drive growth, efficiency, and client engagement. It involves optimising marketing workflows, implementing scalable enablement programs, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. The role equips sales and specialist teams with tools, processes, insights, and capabilities to deliver business-aligned campaigns and initiatives.


Key Focus Areas

Strategic Marketing & Analytics

  • Conduct strategic and market analytics to generate customer insights at a micro-segment level.
  • Develop segment-specific strategies informed by customer trends, behaviour, and competitive dynamics.
  • Embed customer-centric insights into product and service offerings.

Business Enablement & Operational Excellence

  • Plan, manage, and monitor enablement activities and processes to deliver operational plans effectively.
  • Provide specialist advice on campaign development, operational planning, and service delivery processes.
  • Design and implement scalable, insight-led enablement programs.
  • Drive adoption of digital tools and technologies for enhanced research and analytics.

Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Continuously scan the market to identify trends and opportunities for new or enhanced products and services.
  • Leverage data and analytics to inform decisions, optimise performance, and demonstrate marketing ROI.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with business stakeholders.
  • Coordinate all calendar-based marketing activity to avoid customer confusion.
  • Drive campaign proposition marketing executions aligned with business goals.

Growth & Performance Management

  • Identify and leverage opportunities for sustainable growth through strategic foresight.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to ensure delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Marketing (Required)

Experience

  • Proven experience in strategic marketing, campaign execution, and business enablement.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Experience with digital tools, analytics platforms, and operational process optimisation.
  • Ability to foster collaboration across multiple business units and stakeholders.
