Role Purpose
Boxer Superstores is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Clerk to support key HR functions at the Benoni Distribution Centre. The role focuses on time & attendance administration, payroll support, recruitment assistance, and general HR operations to ensure smooth and compliant HR processes.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (essential)
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources (preferred)
- 2–3 years’ relevant HR experience
- Previous experience in an HR environment (preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of HR policies, particularly time & attendance and leave management
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work collaboratively and build effective working relationships
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate attendance, leave, overtime, and clocking records
- Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting of clocking machines
- Act as liaison between the Distribution Centre and Head Office
- Submit accurate payroll inputs (new hires, terminations, transfers, unpaid leave, etc.)
- Support the maintenance of accurate staff structures
- Assist with recruitment, including sourcing replacements for absenteeism and terminations
- Maintain employee records and support HR-related queries
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team
