Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have a relevant engineering qualification in the field they are applying for.
Fitting (Including Machining)
- N2 or NCV Level 4 in Mechanical Engineering
- Subjects should include Mathematics, Engineering Science, Fitter Trade Theory, and Engineering Drawing
Boilermaking
- N2 or NCV Level 4 in Boilermaking
- Subjects should include Mathematics, Engineering Science, Structural Steel Drawing, and Plater Trade Theory
Electrical (Heavy Current)
- N3 or NCV Level 4 in Electrical Engineering
- Subjects should include Mathematics, Engineering Science, Electrotechnology, and Industrial Electronics
Applicants must also be medically fit to work in a mining and refinery environment.
What the Programme Offers
- Structured technical and workplace training
- Hands-on experience in a mining and refinery environment
- Exposure to industrial equipment and plant operations
- Preparation for a recognised artisan Trade Test Certificate accredited by the Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA)
Selection Process
Shortlisted applicants may be required to complete:
- Interviews
- Psychometric assessments
- Medical fitness evaluations
