Programme Overview

This apprenticeship programme is designed to develop technical skills in either the Millwright or Fitter & Turner trade.

Successful applicants will receive structured training and hands-on experience within a manufacturing environment. Participants will be employed on an hourly-rated basis for the duration of the programme.

Note: Permanent employment is not guaranteed after completion, as placement depends on available vacancies.


Available Trades

Millwright

Training will focus on both mechanical and electrical systems, including maintenance and repair of industrial machinery.

Fitter & Turner

Training will focus on machining, fitting, assembling, and maintaining mechanical components and equipment.


Minimum Requirements

Millwright

  • NTC3 or Technical Matric with:
    • Mathematics
    • Engineering Science
    • Electrical Trade Theory or Mechanical Trade Theory
    • Technical Drawing / Graphical Design
  • Relevant workshop experience (advantageous)

Fitter & Turner

  • NTC3 or Technical Matric with:
    • Mathematics
    • Engineering Science
    • Fitter & Turner Trade Theory
    • Technical Drawing
  • Relevant workshop experience (advantageous)
