1. Manager, Relationship, Premium (Secunda & Kimberley)

The Role: This position is dedicated to growing and retaining a portfolio of high-value Premium Segment relationships. Using an “ecosystem mindset,” the Relationship Manager proactively provides high-end differentiated services and premium solutions that add value to the client’s growth.

Experience & Requirements:

  • Education: First Degree in Business Commerce.
  • Certification: RE5 (Required for Kimberley post).
  • Experience: 5–7 years in a client-facing role, including sales, credit, and relationship management within Business & Commercial Banking.
  • Competencies: Strategy development, establishing rapport, and deep risk awareness.

2. Analyst, Systems (Payments)

The Role: A leadership role in stakeholder management, driving requirements prioritization in collaboration with Product Owners. The Analyst guides epics and user stories through the full Agile delivery lifecycle, ensuring quality outcomes for payment systems.

Experience & Requirements:

  • Education: First Degree in Information Technology.
  • Experience: 5–7 years in Agile/SCRUM environments + 10+ years in the payments domain.
  • Technical Depth: Expert knowledge of SWIFT, RTC, RTGS, ISO 20022, and SARB regulations.
  • Tools: Proficiency in Confluence and JIRA is essential.

3. Senior Cloud Engineer, AWS

The Role: Serving as the AWS subject matter expert across AI, DevOps, Compute, and Networking. This engineer ensures the Standard Bank AWS environment evolves toward best practices while mentoring junior engineers and managing 3rd party SLAs.

Experience & Requirements:

  • Education: First Degree in Information Technology.
  • Experience: 8–10 years in IT/Integration with a solid track record in solution design and AWS platform engineering.
  • Technical Depth: Deep expertise in Control Tower, Landing Zones, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), and EKS.

4. Senior Fund Administrator (Liberty Group)

The Role: Responsible for the general management and administration of funds managed by Standard Bank International Investments. This includes executing trades, checking daily valuations, and processing client investment transactions.

Experience & Requirements:

  • Education: Financial Degree or Diploma.
  • Experience: 5–8 years in Investment Administration with operational knowledge of Asset Management and Collective Investment Funds.

5. Business Analyst (STANLIB)

The Role: This professional identifies and documents improvement opportunities across multiple business lines. They conduct critical analysis of current processes and systems to provide practical recommendations for efficiency.

Experience & Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in Business Commerce or Information Technology.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in business analysis and process flow improvement within the Insurance sector.
  • Competencies: Practical problem-solver with a knack for challenging established ideas.

6. CIB Quantitative Graduate Programme 2026

The Role: An 18-month transformative programme within Corporate & Investment Banking. Graduates will immerse themselves in diverse banking and trading quant teams, applying mathematical and statistical models to Risk Management.
