Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) in:
    • Business Administration or Management
    • Public Administration or Management
    • Operations
    • Accounting or Finance

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years functional experience in:
    • Client services
    • Claims processing
    • Operations environment
    • Insurance environment

Knowledge Required

  • Departmental policies and procedures

Key Responsibilities

Client Services

  • Assist clients with unemployment insurance services and applications
  • Provide support and follow-up on UIF applications

Claims Administration

  • Process and administer UIF claims efficiently
  • Ensure quality assurance and compliance during processing

Operations Management

  • Supervise resources including staff, equipment, and finances within the section
  • Support operational service delivery at labour centres and satellite offices
