Toyota is offering a Learnership Programme for unemployed South African youth to gain structured theory and practical training in maintenance disciplines. Successful completion of the programme leads to a National Qualifications Framework (NQF) Level 3 Certificate.

Programme Purpose & Training Focus
The programme equips learners with skills to support maintenance operations in a high-performance automotive plant.
Core Training Disciplines:
- Working effectively in a team
- Hand tools usage and workplace safety
- Assembly and manufacturing processes
- Engineering drawing and marking off
- Welding basics
- Operating and monitoring production machinery

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
- National Technical Certificate (N3 – N6)
- Matric/Technical Matric with any of the following subjects:
- Mathematics & Physical Science or Engineering Science
- Electrical Trade Theory
- Mechanical Trade Theory
- Motor Trade Theory
- Mechanical Drawing
- Graphical Design
