South African National Parks (SANParks), the leading conservation authority in South Africa, is inviting unemployed graduates to apply for their 24-month Internship Programme. This initiative provides practical experience within various divisions of the organization.
Programme Overview
- Location: Groenkloof National Park (Pretoria) and other regional offices.
- Duration: 24 Months.
- Stipend: R6 335.69 per month.
- Closing Date: 22 April 2026.
Available Internship Fields
Applicants must hold a National Diploma (NQF 6) or higher in one of the following disciplines:
- Tourism & Marketing: Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Finance, or Accounting.
- Wild Card / CRM: Tourism Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.
- Socio-Economic Transformation: Business Management, Economics, Supply Chain, Administration, or Social Sciences (Anthropology, Sociology, Heritage Studies).
- Communications: Information Science, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Events Management, or Hospitality.
- ICT: Information Technology, Computer Science, or Web Development.
- Finance: National Diploma in Accounting.
- Legal Services: LLB Degree.
Minimum Requirements
To be eligible for the programme, you must meet the following criteria:
- Age: Between 18 and 35 years old.
- Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen.
- Status: Must be currently unemployed.
- Experience: Must not have participated in any previous internship or placement programme.
- Education: Must have completed an NQF Level 6 qualification at a South African Higher Education Institution.
